BRi-LPS02 Common Specifications
- Input: AC 100–240 V, IEC socket (TEConnectivity Corcom PS 3 A, fully shielded)
Switchable between 115 V and 230 V (achieved by swapping the fuses in the fuse box)
Equipped with an AC noise filter
Fitted with a power switch
(Power cable not included) - 100VA/160VA/250VA Triad Magnetics toroidal transformers (custom-made with copper foil shielding)
(LPS02EX/LPS02EX-D, 1st circuit / LPS02EX-T, 1st and 2nd circuits) - 50VA Triad Magnetics toroidal transformer (custom-made with copper foil shielding)
(LPS02EX-PN/LPS02EX-PND analogue section) - 7V/25VA RS Pro (Talema) or Aegis PCB-mounted toroidal transformer
(LPS02EX-D, 2nd circuit / LPS02EX-PND, digital 5V section) - Select the two nearest voltages from 5–24 V DC; internally switchable (single output voltage only). Maximum output 7 A (5 A at 24 V)
(LPS02EX/LPS02EX-D: 1st circuit / LPS02EX-T: 1st and 2nd circuits)
Output terminals: OD5.5/ID2.1 (or ID2.5) Singatron DC sockets
One additional Singatron DC socket and one additional panel-mounted terminal can each be added as options.
(Can be used within the maximum 7A range)
Changes in Version 1.1
- Replace all metal-film resistors with Vishay MMB MELF 1 per cent metal-film resistors
- DC 5V, maximum 3A output (LPS02EX-D, second channel)
Output terminals: USB Type-A and USB Type-C, dedicated to power supply output
One additional panel-mounted terminal can be fitted as an option
(Can be used within the maximum 3A range) - ±5–19 V (maximum 20 V), 1.5 A positive and negative output
The output terminals are planned to be XLR connectors via JST VH3P connectors

- The dual-output units feature a push-button LED switch to the left of the voltmeter
(LPS02EX-D/LPS02EX-T) - Tokyo Soundproofing’s Sorbo-Sein rubber THI-304 (30 mm diameter hemisphere) is used as an insulator.
- Fuses for protection circuits: 250 V, 2 A or 3 A (2 fuses); compatible with both American and Midget types (standard configuration includes a Littelfuse 285 gold-plated ceramic fuse or a Schurter SMD-SPT gold-plated ceramic fuse)
- Oyaide Electric 102SSC 3398-22 cable for additional wiring on the AC side
- Oyaide Electric 102SSX 3398-18 cable for additional wiring when customising the DC side
- A DC output cable is not included, but we can provide a bespoke solution if required.
Changes in Version 1.1
- The copper heat spreader on the circuit board side of the Takachi HY case has been extended to cover almost the entire surface area of the heat sink, significantly enhancing heat dissipation performance.
