This product was originally designed to bring out the performance of the AKM (Asahi Kasei Micro Devices) DAC AK4493SEQ X 2 in the FiiO K7/K7BT. It was designed to strengthen the power supply for the AK4493SEQ X 2.
Later, due to requests for operation with 5V and low-power USB PD GaN adapters, a low-power version has also been designed.

We mainly focus on the following

• To demonstrate the reproducibility and subtlety of AKM DACs (and other DACs).
  To reproduce all sounds, but to be able to listen to them comfortably as music when heard as a whole.
  If you listen with an awareness of the parts, you can feel the melody of the parts and instruments.
  To make the most of the subtlety of AKM DACs, which reproduce the delicate expression of string instruments, the feel of a live piano performance, the reverberations of a hall performance, and the quality of the mixing.

• No unnecessary coloration.
  The aim is to reproduce the original sound, not to add unnatural resonance or brilliance to cymbals and other instruments in the high frequency range.
  Flat sound range from low to mid and high frequencies with no unnecessary undulations.
  Do not cheat in the high-resolution range (20KHz and above).
• To reduce noise around the power supply, including switching noise, so that the true potential of the DC input equipment can be demonstrated.

The above three points can be seen to be effective in terms of reducing noise in the upstream adaptor, with a noise cleaner + bulk capacitor and power smoothing module, which is only for AC adaptors with switching/transformer/USB PD GaN elements.
It is not a perfect solution, but it is an affordable and cost-effective solution.

The price is in the Petit Susie + Tank LE class, but as it is distributed privately and not mass-produced, it is difficult to reduce the cost.
Also, the parts used in Susie and Tank/LE/SS can be procured inexpensively from general products, but our products are selected with particular attention to audio grade products and power cables, so the price is inevitably higher.

Common items for BRi-PSM01 series

• Reduces high-frequency noise from 100 KHz to 1 GHz by using the Murata EMIFIL BNX016-01 EMI filter for noise suppression.
  (The wall of high frequencies felt with the Petit Susie and ATH-W5000 are not felt with this product, making it clear all the way to the top)
• Noise reduction from audible frequency range up to 200 KHz by using Nichicon audio aluminium electrolytic capacitors and WIMA film capacitors
• Enables mounting of up to seven aluminium electrolytic capacitors on a single board, making it possible to achieve a power smoothing capacity equivalent to Susie+Tank with just one, and just over four times as much with a medium capacitance.
• DC input Singatron DC connector (outer diameter 5.5 mm / inner diameter 2.1 mm) for stable connection.
• DC output DC plug (OD 5.5 mm/ID 2.1 mm) or terminal block
  (From 21/4/2024) Oyaide 102SSC 3398-18 0.75sq cable is used for the DC cable and Marushin Radio MP121CF is used for the DC plug to provide high current countermeasures and enhanced sound quality in the entire area (approx. 15 cm).
• Original design considering noise countermeasures 2-layer board
  Board size 98 mm X 30 mm with 10 mm spacer
  In order to combine the functions of the Petit Susie + Petit Tank into one unit, it cannot be accommodated in the size of the Susie, etc. by any means and is slightly larger.
• Wako Technical SR-4N, using silver-cored solder for audio.

• Basically, the price is almost only the cost of the parts and shipping, as it is made for distribution and as a hobby.
  Remark:
  Due to the fact that we are undergoing medical treatment, the price of parts and shipping costs alone is becoming more and more difficult to cover future designs and consumables, so we are adjusting the prices of the items we sell on Yahoo!
