Prototype verification of LPS-Digital boards has started.
A prototype board of the LPS-Digital (LPS01 power supply for digital 5 V), which was previously announced as being under design, has been mounted and is currently under verification.
The LPS-Digital is based on an internal digital power supply, but can be equipped with a USB A or Type-C connector dedicated to power supply, and will be the second 5 V side board of the LPS-Dual (provisional) 2-system power supply combining LPS01 + LPS-Digital.
Based on LPS Ver 1.1, components are selected for small voltages of 5 V or less, and a PCB transformer is used to reduce the size to 16 cm x 7 cm.
(LPS Ver 1.1 is 10 cm ⅹ 9 cm and the transformer is 9.4 cm in diameter).
It is currently running for one week continuously as an external power supply for the Steinberg UR22C.
The operational status is good and there are no plans to release the LPS-Digital on its own, but it will be used in combination with the LPS-Dual (provisional) and the future LPS-Differential.
We will be designing the LPS01EXLE custom-built machine after its completion, so please wait for further information if you are interested.
