Toroidal transformer linear (isolation) power supplies BRi-LPS02 series

Toroidal transformer linear (isolation) power supplies BRi-LPS02 series
Linear power supply The BRi-LPS01EX(LE) had restrictions of 5A up to 15V, 3A at 24V and up to a 100VA toroidal transformer to fit into the Takachi-HEN compact heat dissipation case.
The current output was sufficient for general DACs, clock generators, headphone amplifiers and network switches, but it could not cope with the insufficient current for
24V machines or as a power supply for high-end NUCs.
The BRi-LPS02 series uses a larger Takachi-HY heatsink aluminium case, but can be further developed from the LPS01EX to include a high-current-capacity toroidal transformer, and by combining LPS boards, two output units and positive and negative power output units can be developed.
The BRi-LPS02 series uses three LPS boards plus one auxiliary board.
-
LPS Ver. 3 board
By redesigning the LPS Ver. 1.1 board of the LPS01 series and operating two linear regulators in parallel, the existing board + 1 cm in size can handle up to 7 A up to 15 V and 5 A at 24 V. Select two close voltage types from output 5 to 24 V with an internal switch. Linear power supply board for one output system by switching between two output voltages from 5-24V.
(Optionally available with up to 10 A output at up to 15 V and +2 output terminals within the maximum current of one system output using a 2 ยต-thick copper foil board). - LPS-Digital 5V/3A transformer integrated board
Linear power supply board that can handle up to 5V/3A with LDO linear regulator and PCB-mounted toroidal transformer on it, redesigned from the LPS01 series board for low power applications below 5V.
Output terminals are a USB A connector and USB Type-C connector dedicated to power output. Panel-mounted DC jacks are available as an option. - LPS-Differential Positive and Negative Power Supply Board (+-5~19V/1.5A)
Positive and negative linear power supply board with the same three-stage filter configuration of the LPS01 on the positive and negative sides, post regulator and Analog Devices' LDO linear regulator with excellent excessive response.
Outputs are planned to be XLR terminals. - LPS AC Multiplexer and Front Switch Auxiliary Board
Auxiliary board that oversees AC line splitting and front switching when using multiple LPS02 series boards.
By combining one to three of the above boards, a linear power supply unit can be used to meet multiple demands.
All inherit the design of the BRi-LPS01 series, with a total smoothing capacity of 50,240uF, a three-stage filter circuit and an inrush current protection circuit.
Together, the LPS-Differential and LPS-Digital provide a total linear power supply system for audio equipment and will form the basis for future audio equipment development at BRi-Audio.
